Defintly. When you get stressed out you get "stress vision" you fear the worst possibul out come of everything. Sometimes you can even get sick. So paranoyia isnt too far out there. Headaches are common too.
If stress causes physical symptims why not emotinal. I mean after all it is a kind of mental illness.

Paranoia is an excessive anxiety or fear concerning one's own well-being which is considered irrational and excessive, perhaps to the point of being a psychosis. This typically includes persecutory beliefs concerning a likely threat, or a belief in a conspiracy theory. In the original Greek, παράνοια (paranoia) means simply madness (para = outside; nous = mind) and it is this use which was traditionally used in psychiatry to describe any delusional state. However, the exact use of the term has changed over time in medicine, and because of this, modern psychiatric usage may vary. Paranoia is distinct from phobias where there is an irrational and persistent fear of certain situations, objects, animals, activities, or social situations. By contrast, the paranoid person blames and/or fears intelligent beings for their supposedly intentional actions.

GOOZ FRAH BAH my friend I know exactly what you are going through, when I was in college one day my car broke down, so I called a cab when the cab driver asked me where I was going, I couldnt remember where I worked. Also did you know that the majority of people who have heart attacks do so on monday morning. Stress can F you up.What you need to do is practice relaxation / meditation or just come up with one thing to really look forward to every day to shift your focus from all the stressful things in your life. Meditation worked for me, that and girl watching at lunch. For you it may be jogging, playing basketball or simply throwing rocks at moving cars.lol.Whatever you do , do something. Stress is plastic in the sence that it can be changed to your advantage , you just have to figure out what is going to change it for you.

Yes Stress can cause anything. You need to take time out for a while. My friends brother who was studying law, with immense pressure from his family to do well, ended up with schizophrenia.
Its not worth it. If you are not feeling well, then take a few steps back. Life is to short. Good Luck

I don't think stress can cause schizophrenia, but it can lead to depression, anxiety, and psychosis in extreme cases, which is a bit like schizophrenia, and can be treated with the same kinds of drugs that are used to treat schizophrenia.
However unlike schizophrenia if you remove the cause of the stress the symptoms will go away.

It tells you this: You have no logical alternative but to accept that Jesus is God: “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God; or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. “ For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, Col 2:9 (NIV)
