I need a website (or some recipes) that are healthy and pretty quick and easy (i.e. doesn't require 20 ingredients). I'm pregnant, have two other children, a full time job and a hubby and home to take care of and cooking seems to be the last thing I can get done so I'm always eating on the go it seems. Need something tasty and healthy! (This is the time I wish I was rich so I could afford a live-in chef - and housekeeper) Help!!! Thanks!!!!

Another favorite place of mine. So many different things here. They have been reviewed and comments galore. Also, you can alter the recipes for different serving sizes, and it will calculate the ingredients for you. How great is that?

PROTEIN DRINK FOR PREGNANT MOMS

2 c. milk
1 banana
1 tbsp. black strap molasses
1 tbsp. protein powder (vanilla flavored)
1 tbsp. nutritional yeast

Combine all ingredients in a blender until thoroughly mixed. Drink half and save half in refrigerator for later. This drink is also good for lactating moms and underweight children.

HEART HEALTHY MEDITERRANEAN SALAD

spinach leaves
olive oil
green squash
black olives
tomato (s)
dried Rosemary, oregano, thyme and Italian seasoning
garlic powder
black and red peppers
mozzarella cheese,grated
croutons

Cut Spinach Leaves into strips. Put in a bowl for a salad.
Mix together in a separate bowl olive oil, squash, olives, tomato, seasonings, and cheese.
Toss on salad. Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes or overnight.
Top with croutons and serve. Makes a quick, healthy salad!

HEALTHY BEEF STROGANOFF ON RICE

1 lb package of stew beef, thawed
1 - 2 bell peppers, chopped
grapeseed oil
brown rice
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
garlic
salt
pepper
3 teaspoons ketchup
butter

Start rice 45 minutes prior to meal time.
Begin by sautéing the peppers in Pam until slightly tender. Add meat cubes and cook until meat is slightly pink in center. Add garlic and sauté briefly. Add sour cream, Cream of Mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until the rice is done.
When rice is done, add 3 tablespoons butter and stir.
Place on plate or in bowl. Add meat mixture.

HEALTHY/EASY TURKEY PICANTE TACOS

1 lb lean ground turkey
16 oz. Pace Picante sauce (medium or hot)
Monterey Jack cheese
flour tortillas
spinach or iceberg lettuce

Brown 1 pound ground turkey. Drain grease; add Picante sauce - about 12 oz.
Simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Shred lettuce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Serves 5 to 7 people.


BUD'S HEALTHY LEMON CHICKEN

1 cut-up chicken
4 lemons
Pepper
Garlic powder
Herbal salt substitute

Wash chicken, remove skin. Place in baking pan, meaty sides up. Cut lemons in 1/2 and squeeze over chicken and seasonings to taste. Marinate 1/2 hour minimum. Barbecue or broil. Baste frequently with reserved marinade.

E Z HEALTHY PASTA PRIMAVERA

Hot cooked pasta of choice
Parmesan cheese
1 c. broccoli flowerettes
1 c. sweet bell pepper strips
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 c. Kraft Free Ranch dressing
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. diagonally sliced carrots
1 c. mushrooms, quartered
1 c. onions, sliced

Steam all vegetables until crisp tender. Toss cooked vegetables with hot pasta and use enough Ranch dressing to coat. Add Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Pass more cheese at table. You can vary this by using Kraft Free Italian dressing or Kraft Free Bleu Cheese dressing, also use your favorite vegetables in whatever combinations you like. I use large shell macaroni and like the way it holds sauce.
