Nothing pushy like a red rose or anything, just a nice little flower or two. Is this pushy, sweet, or trite? Thoughts, ladies? (Note: this is for someone in mid-twenties)

When men bring ladies flowers or even a single rose etc..it's a nice/polite gesture to the lady. I personally think it's very sweet and shows the man is interested in you, and some men do it for manners and that type of thing =) Or some don't give flowers in the begining which is ok too =)

It depends on how well you know them. For a blind date, I prefer no flower. It's a little pushy and puts pressure on the situation. If it is someone that I know fairly well, then something small and casual is fine. I think it is much more meaningful after seeing each other a couple of times first, before giving flowers.

The women will most likely think it is sweet. But Beware, this could make you less attractive to the women as well, because women are turned on by a challenge when a guy is to nice and giving, there is no excitement. Don't get me wrong, men should me nice considerate and giving, because this definitely turns women on as well, but you have to hold back a little. Sucks, but that's how it is out here.

There was a guy who gave me a flower on the first date. I thought it was a very sweet gesture and it showed he put thought into the date and that he liked me. I think it is ok to give (or receive) one

Depends on how much I liked the guy! I'd love it if he was someone that I was dying to date and hoped he felt the same. Otherwise kind of corny - however I was on a date once that was going great and someone was selling a rose and he bought one for me!

I would say it's sweet, esp if it's just like simple flower I think it's a very cute statement that's not too serious, but carries enough thought!

Make it a pink sweetheart rose. Red is too much for first date. That is sweet of you to want to do that

I went for the grocery store bouquet. Affordable, and it helped get me a kiss at the end of the night.

I have always done it. Especially if it is a first meeting. First impressions are lasting ones.
