No, it has little effect on getting pimples or acne at all. Drink plenty of water because your body needs it and it will help to a small degree. Acne is caused by very active oil glands under the skin and when an adolescents body changes (puberty), a multitude of changes occur all at the same time, hormones go crazy and the oil glands do as well. There are some very good products on the market like pro-active that help. Eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water and exercise, this will help keep your bodies systems as close to as in check as they can be during this time, but it will not stop it all. Keep your body clean, but do not use any harsh scrubbers on the skin, they will do more damage than good, finger tips work best.

It can, depending on the cause of acne. Most acne related to ingensted allergic reactions will go away with water. However if the cause of your acne is topical (meaning there is something being put on your skin), water may not work.

It can help in the long run, but it is not a quick cure. Keeping well hydrated is excellent for your skin.
