That depends on how old your dog is and whether you bred her on her first heat or not. Are you thinking about breeding her on her next heat? You should have her spayed.
Actually, females shouldn't be bred until at least 2 years of age. That way they are sure to be physically mature enough to carry a litter. Most show breeders don't breed until 3 yrs of age in large breeds since many still continue to fill out between 2 and 3 years of age. It's simply upsetting how often these types of questions get asked by people who have already let their dog have puppies.

A females vary with their heat cycles. First heat comes every six months some 8 -9 months. Depending on the dog.
When she has puppies this will usually throw her off a weeks or maybe a month. ( I am going by what mine does ). You dog won't come into heat again for a while.

approximately 4 months from the time she supplies start. determine it this form. A canines is going into warmth each 6 months. The gestation time is two months so upload 4 + 2 = 6 months. yet you could never breed a canines interior 2 consecutive warmth cycles. you could wait a 365 days skipping a warmth cycle till you could breed your canines lower back. it particularly is totally undesirable for the two the mummy and the puppies.

Most breeds are different. Some bitches come into heat twice a year and some only once. She shouldn't have been breed til her second heat so you should know about how many months in between heats. If you know when her first one was and about the time she got preg.you should have an idea what to expect. If not then you have to wait and see. There is no exact number of months between heats for dogs.
