Last week I kept getting sharp shooting pains in the left hand side of my chest. I was worried my heart was at risk because of stress but I now think it is due to a muscle strain. The past few days this pain has been there a lot more and is causing more trouble for me and doesnt seem to be going away. I can exercise still and have no dificulty breathing. I am also bunged up with a cold.Does anybody have any suggestions for me?

It's very possible that this is a muscle strain because of having a cold if you've been coughing and sneezing a lot. Many times people mistake muscle pain for heart problems. I do suggest you go to your medical doctor and get a complete check up to make sure that it's nothing serious.

I would get to the Doctor as soon as possible. You might be having some heart problems or a heart attack. DON'T WAIT go get some help NOW....
