The Bible says nothing about free will -- on earth or in heaven.

We say we have free will. But, God said that those who will be saved have been predestined, called from the beginning of Creation. Whatever will we have has absolutely NO bearing on thwarting God's will. We make such a big deal over free will, bigger than it really is, I think.

Satan and a third of the angels sinned before Eve was tempted, for they were already thrown to earth. You will notice that at judgement day (told in Revelation) both heaven and earth will flee in the presence of God the Father, for no place will be found for them. Ever wonder why? Perhaps because both were tarnished with sin. Regardless a new earth an a new heaven will be presented.

Whether or not the new heaven or earth will ever experience sin is not stated in the Bible. My take is that we will be so eternally grateful to Jesus for what He did for us - the faithful and saved, I mean - that the profound gratitude and love will exist in us for all eternity. God will completely abide in His children; and, His children will completely abide in Him...there will be no place for sin. Just as Christ's sacrifice was completely satisfactory once and for all for the atonement of sins in man; so, too, will God's wrath in Revelation and the creation of the new heaven and earth be completely sufficient to be sinless forever.

I do know that we (who are saved) will judge the angels- 1 Corinthians 6:3
Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

--In Heaven there is no sinning, yes-- it will be Holy as God is holy. And we who are saved have been made righteous through Jesus Christ--in His eyes.
Angels are in heaven, the Bible describes them as rejoicing over sinners who repent, when someone gets saved. (Luke 15:10)-and not only that but the Bible has a LOT to say about the angels of God.
But what exactly is your question Chip? Please further clarify~

-P.S what "preacher" said above is exactly RIGHT. That explains it all--simply put.

Angels were created in heaven, with free will. Each of them used their free will to make a choice, either for God or against God. Those who chose against God did so eternally, and those who chose God also did so eternally. It is the same with human beings. Our lives on earth are where we exercise free will, either choosing God or rejecting Him, and that choice is eternal. Therefore, all those in heaven have made an eternal choice for God, and free will is therefore irrelevant.

Hey there chippy

Ive heared that too.
But I think angels DO have free will.
otherwise how could Lucifer rebell? But I really think it's more like life was a game, I mean it's suposed to be paradise forever, but I'm sure after a while it get's pretty boring, so God made the Game of life, and we come to earth to play.

There are two teams,
God's team,
And Lucifer's team.

wich team are you on

What a blank assumption.
You think because there is none of the bad that means no free will?

Wow. Show me that scripture. Can you?
Just to add, when you are in Heaven and all your wishes are fulfilled, you would want to ruin that?
Childish rubbish.

Get A Grip, seriously.

Without any reference of Scriptures offered for me to look at in support of your statement. I am assuming you are speaking of Lucifer, and we know he sinned in heaven and was cast down to earth. Now, no sinning or sadness in the heaven to come doesn't apply to Lucifer because he will have been destroyed. The way I see it, what happened once will never happen again according to God's plan.

Chippy you got there first. I had the same idea but I took it from the perspective of the people in Heaven. If angels can do it, why can't the people in Heaven do it?

Angels do not know anything about salvation---they cannot experience the salvation process. The fallen angels, that is those that followed Satan, will stay fallen and go to hell with Satan. The holy angels will remain unchanged.

How can anyone know the answer to that? You are all guessing and with no basis from which to start. It is pointless to theorize about that which you know absolutely nothing about.
