I dont quite understand the question, but i think you mean if we came from monkeys why are they still here. Anyway if that is what you mean there are many instances of this, we are a family, they can variate, like the Shark is in the same family as Dolphin but one is extremely clever and the other is a hardened predator

What was the evolutionary step before the monkeys. As evolutionists have suggested monkeys seem to have risen from nowhere with no known predecessors. Lol I laugh at the thumbs down. Not sure what you're asking, but I wonder too why there aren't still the immediate predecessors to man or some kind of hybrid ape/man thing still walking around
