WHat do girls go for? Girls - do tell me.?

Hi girls, I want to know something.

I have a friend. He is quite a good looking guy, but besides that, girls go for him big time. I know he likes meeting girls, and he goes out to meet them. But when goes out, he just comes across as he is having fun. He just doesn`t seem to try. He just has fun, and doesn`t focus on the one he wants. He is a nice guy though.

Me on the other hand, when I go out, I also like to go and meet girls and am quite a decent looking guy. I do pay attention to the girl I want to hook up with and get to know better.

Is the trick to simply go out and have a good time like my bud, be merry and thats when they come and simply not worry about it. How do you give the sign that you can be approached. I believe you should give a sign, so as not to show the girl that you don`t care at all. I have watched my friend. Besides his good looks, he is a nice guy, but he just seems to have fun. Whats the trick there?
Any tips based on that?

Also - he seems to show very little interest in the girl he is interested in, if any at all?
Is it JUST looks or what?

it might just be that he has a way with girls, i like a guy that is funny, hott, sweet, and is willing to spend time with me. i act like your friend even though he is a guy and i am a girl, just take it easy and just be yourself and just leave it alone, something will turn up everyonce in a while.
