Asdf ~
Obviously you are very biased when it comes to fighter Miguel Cotto, and nothing that I or anyone else here can or will write will change your already made up mind therefore, writing to you that Miguel Cotto is a breath of fresh air to a sport that has truly seen it's better days, and that in day and age when it seems more appropriate to sling obscenities at your opponent, beat ones wife or girlfriend and buy all the jewelry and fancy sports cars that money can buy and still proclaim "I'm the best" by not fighting a fighter who is truly in his prime wouldn't matter to you.

It won't matter to you that he has the dignity of World Champions past. It won't matter to you that he makes no excuses for a lousy performance. It won't matter to you that he gets knocked down, but learns from each and every time he does and gets up and fights on. None of this will matter to you and those like you.

I'm not a "newyorrican" or any other type of "Rican" I'm a fight fan who use to be a fighter who knows talent when he sees it, but you probably wouldn't understand this either.

Thanks for the question Asdf.

There was nothing wrong with his last fight. The guy actually could take a head punch, but Cotto's blistering body punches wore the guy down until he had to give up.

I don't know if he'll ever be one of the greats or not (and I'm not Newyorican), but seriously... You don't know enough about boxing if you say he doesn't look good. Real boxing fans appreciate body punchers. He's got the best body punching ability since Julio Cesar Chavez.

Biased in a bad way toward Puerto Rican fighters? You fight fire with fire. If a guy Is going to use dirty tactics like Urkal (headbutting) you give it back to him double and punish him. Cotto will be a force to be reckoned with for the next 3 to 5 years of his career. Whether you like him or not.
