I am trying to find resources that would help me write a braided essay but I can't seem to find any. Do you know of any websites that might help me understand how to write braided essays?

Gosh, I've never heard of a "braided" essay before. What is it?

Braided essays fall under the category of lyric poems, they are (of course) lyrical, musical, and in the case of a braided essay, they have a repeating idea usually one line that "ties" or braids the story together kind of like the refrain in a poem or song. it can be an image, a color, or place or a person. You could write about your summer vacation and braid your different experiences together with a blue sky, or a car that takes you from place to place. The idea is that each paragraph represents a part of the whole with the recurring image included, and the overall essay is about one major theme.

Main requirement is that your eaasy should be classified as creative. Write 3 sections on your life. weave the sections together with small bits of metaphor. Use a sentence 3 times for 3 sections. There is a good site on www.yahoo.com if you enter the words braided essay or lyric essay.
