a man and woman walk into a bar. the bar tender says he gonna kill them. so he puts poisen in both there drinks. the woman died. the man didnt. why?

Is this like the one about the poisened punch? He put it in the form of ice. The man gulped his down before the ice had time to melt, while the woman sipped hers slowly giving the ice time to melt poisoning the drink and her in turn.
