*Abraham was Semitic, and his children are the ancestors of the Jewish people and the Arab people, according to the Jewish tradition (Isaac is the ancestor of the Jews and Ishmael is the ancestor of the Arabs).
*The Moabites are not Arabs; they are another Semitic nation that had set in Jorden.
*David was part Moabite, but only ethnically, as Ruth converted to Judaism and considered a Jew in every sense.
*Jews and Arabs know very well that they share a similar ancestry. In Israel, neutral common term between the two nations is "cousins" (e.g- how much does it cost, cousin?).
