God didn't create confusion....He inspired men to write the Bible and when they wrote it they wrote what He had them write. Matthew was writing to mostly Jews so he wrote based on that giving people an idea of prophecy and where it was fulfilled. Luke was writing to mostly gentiles.
Jesus is the son of God and He is God made man and the third member of the trinity.

Maybe Satan is having fun with the Christians and the joke is on them. If you ask me there are many religions and gods that came before Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. What if say Ahura Mazda the god of the religion of Zoroastrianism is the real God? Nobody knows as like I said so many religions and some have come before others.
