your body is breaking down the proteins in your muscles for food. the shaking comes from the muscles spasming as they're being digested.

You are getting low blood sugar, which if it goes too low, you could go into a coma, and you need to eat something, anything, not something sweet to bring it sky high and then fall again, something like orange juice, or a piece of hard candy, but, you want to bring your sugar level up, but, things like coca-cola and candy ect. will bring it up really fast and stop the shakes, but, then it all of a sudden drops, so you need to go get checked out to see if you have low blood sugar, and if you do, the best thing for you to do is eat something, not sugar related, but, eat every few hours to keep your blood level right. I have the low blood sugar, and had all the test and such, which is really not fun, but, all you need to do is eat something, even a cracker or something every few hours to keep the blood sugar level consistant, and also, I would advice you to see a doctor, that would be the safest thing to do, because you might need more than just eating smaller amounts to keep the sugar level at all times to keep the shakes away, because you don't want to go into a coma..so, see a dr. good luck and eat, okay.

This happens to me when I'm dieting. I'm in nursing school now and I've learned mine is from low blood sugar. You can become hypoglycemic and it will make you irritable, shaky, and you just don't feel good. If you eat a couple crackers or something with carbs about every 4 hrs it will help with the shakiness. At least works for me. You can go into a coma if your blood sugar gets way too low!

Your body, when deprived of essential nutrients (oxygen, food...) will start to go into shock. It can't function on the base level because it has no fuel to sustain it. If this happens on a regular basis, all of a sudden or when you're just hungry and not going on a completely empty stomach, you may want to consider seeing a physician. There may be a more serious health issue here.

i'm not sure, but I would say that the shaking is just a result of your blood sugar getting too low.
