i have doubts about immigrants because some are here on vacation or to study so on but still work. they come in a way u can call fraud play example come as student but dont study but begin working. dont you think all immigrants should be checked?

The people on vacation are not allowed to work and i think they are always checked because employers are not allowed to employ them if having a visiting visa. Those who find themselves in employment are there because their employers have not abided with the immigration rules. About students, they are only allowed to work 20 hours a week and some dont abide with the rules and end up working many hours. i agree to the fact that they have to be checked by their employers so that they dont exceed the number of hours. Employers are therefore required to abide with immigration rules when it comes to recruitments.

Yes, every body should be checked its the law that if you want to work in the U.S legally you should at least have a work visa, or a permit to work . I know at least 4 Canadians in my college working here illegally. They are breaking the law and its not right we should check every one. And send the ones that hire the illegals to jail and apply high fines to them.

They should be thoroughly checked prior to being allowed entry, be made to report into immigration authorities on a regular basis or face expulsion.

It's dishonest employers who take on people without work visas. You can't blame a foreign student for wanting to earn some extra cash.

immigrants should not be able to enter the country to leach of government!!!
Its OK for them to come in but the more you let in then the more probability of our society becoming like theres.
We should help them and there government stabilise then neither would have this immigrant problem.
But then again America is full of immigrants after all isn't it?

you idiot. my fiance came over from india to study and is working on a work based training scheme. and while he is working he is paying a hell of alot of tax and earns the right to be in this country.
the immigration process is very strict in this country and to get past it and have a valid reason to work is difficult. anyone who wants to take the piss out of the uk by working illegally is putting themselves up for risk of deportation. so most immigrants work legally. this country needs these hard working well educated intelligent employees to provide good quality services that most uk idle employees cannot do as efficiently.
also, if an immigrant is here as a student he must study to be able to stay in the country. if the immigrant wishes to apply for an extension on their visa they must have proof from the place of study that they have in fact been studying and attending for a certain (high) percentage of the year.
first research your racism before letting your small minded opinions loose on other pathetic like minded people, so as to insight racial hatred.

no i dont think they should be checked. how are people goign to know who to check in the fisrt place? by the color of their skin or the way they look? isnt that racism? this country already went through many issues dealing with racism and treating people differently. that is why the constitution was made so everyone living here should have the same rights regardless their status. we r all humas and we should be treated the same! would u like someone going to ur house or to ur work to see if your legal here? i know i wouldnt... well hopefully i gave u a good enough answer NO THEY SHOULD NOT CHECK!
