Honey, I would call him and talk to him about it.~~~~
That is not a nice thing to do, trying to steal something he gave you, that I am sure you have learned to love. He could get in trouble with the law, if he steals the dog, and you report him.
Be nice when you call. It never pays to handle things in a hateful manner. Good luck !! and God bless you & your puppy.~~~~Jill

First of all, make sure that your dog has current tags, and that he is licensed under your name. That way, the dog is legally yours unless you sign ownership over to someone else. Report it to the cops when your ex is harrassing you, and especially when he is on your property when you don't want him to be. You can get a restraining order against him if you think that's appropriate.
But if you want to have a legal claim to the dog, make sure he's LICENSED under YOUR NAME. This is a good idea anyway, since it's the law, and that way you will be contacted if anything ever happens to her.

Booby trap the entire house so he gets severely injured next time he tries to steal the dog he gave you as a gift. Then openly laugh at him when you see him downtown walking with a limp!

If the dog was a gift to you.....then the dog is yours. I would call him and ask him why he is trying to steal the dog.....and when he says it is because I bought it....say yeah....you bought it for me as a gift and she is mine, and tell him if he shows up again, you are going to call the police.

If you don't want to lose the dog, call hte cops. It could get killed you know?
Maybe by him or his wreckless acts.
If you value your dog - report it.
He doesn't know you know, so when you call the cops say someone is trying to steal my dog.
Is your dog outside?
Your ex sounds pyscho, if he wants to steal it does he want to harm the dog or you?

Call the police, tell them what is going on. Ask them to just drive by a night every once in awhile to make sure no one is at your place prowling around.

This guy is breaking and entering your property with the intention of theft?? Keep that dog inside and tell him you'll call the police if he continues this illegal harrassment.
