Drinking, eating fatty foods or sugar, aggressive sports etc. Maybe it's just the things that I find fun but why do you have to choose between enjoyment or a prolonged life?

You don't, would you rather be old and not done anything with your life, or die younger and had the best time ever? I'll go with dying younger thanks.

You can drink and have fun, but don't do it stupid. People here with all that live short and have fun crap. Always forgetting that you can live long and still have fun as long as you do it smart. You can eat your junk food and fat foods just don't eat it all the time and make sure to get off your *** and get a workout in. As for sports you can do that cause I mean seriously how many people die in sports? Not many so go for it!

Again it is all about moderation and using your head. As for your question "why do you have to choose between enjoyment or a prolonged life?" I say....why not both?

If those things you mentioned are your only ideas of fun you need to get a life. You'll be shucking corn forever while everyone else finds enjoyment in all of the beautiful things life has to offer.

Iv'e always gone for the good life! BUT I am 69 this month so have been going a bit easy on the reading about fatty foods! Mind you, I don't put on a lot of weight, so I am one of the lucky ones.
Good luck! LOL

I don't know about that. Mountain biking is a lot of fun, but isn't especially dangerous unless you do something stupid or don't pay attention.

Auto racing is fun, and not terribly dangerous unless you don't maintain your equipment or try to do it on the street.

Scuba diving is fun, and not dangerous unless you don't have proper training and equipment.
