No one knows your dog better than you. And I bet you would like to be able to choose the home she goes to and know everything went well. I bet if you put a post (which is free to do) on your local Craigslist you will have lots of people begging you for her and you can pick and choose which one is best. You can also go to their homes and decide for yourself.

Contact her breeder.A good breeder will take her back and rehome her.
If not then are you in the UK?If so look in a magazine called Dogs Today.Near the back there is a list of just about every dog breed under the sun and phone numbers of experts on each breed who are willing to help the public.
Call one of the Weimaraner experts and ask about the breed rescue. This is run by people who breed and show this breed of dog.
If you can keep her for a while she could maybe stay with you till they find a new owner(whom they will vet).If you can't keep her she will be kept by an expert on the breed who will take great care of her till she is rehomed.

If she has AKC papers I can guarantee your breeder requires the dog to come back if you can no longer house the dog. A responsible breeder will always take back their dogs if something happens and find a good home for them. Check your contract to see if you are required to give the dog back to the breeder. If not I would either try to find a local rescue or place an ad in the paper for a free dog. Then you can evaluate the people and choose the best one for your beloved pet.

Have you been in touch with the dog's breeder? That should be your first port of call, a reputable breeder will always take back a dog they have bred or at least help to find another home. Failing that, contact Weimaraner Rescue who have the specialist knowledge to properly assess your dog.

Im in Cincinnati. We have found great homes. If you are nearby and can foster we would be more than happy to help you. I have a fullhouse right now and another foster is going out of town for work so her fosters are going to be spread among the rest. But we can still help you find a home for her and they would still sign out contract

you dont say why you need to re-home such a lovely breed. I had one for 14 years and would have taken yours but i have recently acquired a oes puppy. Definitely to the Weimarana rescue or the breeder who supplied her/him she take it back for re-homing.

where abouts are you, and what are your reasons for wanting to re-home her? If you would lke her to go to the best home possible it is best to be 100% honest with people about her.

I agree with snooksville, take it to the RSPCA, and also give them a donation while you are there, trouble is there can be a waiting list at rescue centres as they are bursting at the seams, or indeed you could and should get in touch with the breeder and she/he will give you advice if they are a reputable breeder.
