A peanut butter sandwich (one slice squished) and sliced apple that she can eat in the car doesn't make too much of a mess. Also a sippy cup of juice or milk or water.

a baggie of dry cereal (cheerios or something low in sugar)
a banana or peeled apple, grapes, orange
drinkable yogurt or go gurts
nutri grain bar
box of raisons or the dried cranberries (craisons)
toast with a little cinnamon and sugar on top or peanut butter
many times children would prefer eating lunch foods rather than typical breakfast foods. i don't have any problem with the children eating a sandwich or anything healthy for breakfast, even if it isn't normally "breakfast".
take care,
SD

I truly understand how difficult it can be to try to get ready for work and then have to wake up a child and get them ready to go to the sitter! A sit-down breakfast is ideal, but not always possible!
My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter absolutely loves fruit, so I usually give her cut up apples with some raisins, cut up melon pieces, or a banana for her to munch until I get her to the sitter. Dry cereal is good too. (She actually LIKES dry mini-wheats! UGH!)

How about fruit?? Things like bananas cut in pieces or Cheerios in a baggie work well. We use to cut grapes into 4ths and put them in a little cup or baggie for the kids. Even toast strips work well. You just have to experiment and see what kinds of things she takes too. My kids would eat anything so it wasn't a concern. I have 3 kids.

things like pediasure or nutripals too... they fill kids up and are full of vitamins...

A little baggie of strawberry and peach slices. Lucky for me, my daughter is a big fruit eater but she especially likes these because the strawberries look like hearts and the peaches look like moons. Its fun to eat.
