they're both fiction. make-believe. unprovable mythology written from the imagination of humans.
more realistic? neither.
better? the HP books are a much better read. and way less sex, violence, killing, warring, guilt, hatred and mass-murder.

Well the Bible has some good life advice in it like "Don't shout early in the morning at your neighbor" and "Do unto others", regardless of the religious wrapping it's good advice. Many of the locations in the Bible existed and I suppose that some of the events and people did as well.
On the other hand Harry Potter was a good read, but I'm not sure if the last book will be any good as the last couple have started to lose the spark that made them good.

Harry Potter stinks, those books are for dweebs and prepubescent girls. The Bible's not a bad read at all, I've found parts of it to be quite interesting.
The Lord of the Rings...now there's a good book. Especially The Two Towers. I love the chapters The Taming of Smeagol, Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbits, and The Stairs of Cirith Ungol. Great heart, humor, and suspence, respectively.

Harry Potter. The Bible has had too many editors, and we all know that spoils the broth. If you want a good creation story, try the first chapters of The Silmarillion. If you want mythology that ties into the real, try some Japanese mythological tales that tell just how the modern emperor is related to the Sun Goddess Amaterasu.

The Bible, which version the one that Jesus' gospel, the one in Aramaic language. not the ones that are changed and keep getting changed to fit sociality. The older the bible the more authentic to the source is going to be. Harry potter, is a good book, but how can it change ones life?

The Bible is better and more realistic. Why? Because it is real and actually happened. HP is just fiction of someone's imagination.
