How do I tell him what happened?

There's this student teacher at my school that I really liked so I told my friend but this other girl overheard. She told another person who claimed that the teacher likes her and flirts with her. Then my friend asked him and he got really upset saying he could lose his job and wanting to know who started the rumours. I just want to tell him that it isn't a big deal because it's hardly a rumour but how do I do that? I'll have to tell him the whole story, including the fact that I like him...?

IThis is a BIG DEAL to him!!.........If he finds out it started with you this could be bad for you; it is apparent that he will be angry with the person however it started ,even if it is not your fault.........best to write an anonymous letter stating that you know how and who started the rumor and you are sorry because you know there is no truth in it.....you are sorry that some people can be so childish and not see the consequences of their actions........tell him in case he feels his job is in jeopardy to keep this letter ........wish him well and then get over your crush .........he has made it clear he will not put his job on the line and doesn't need the headache.....

Step 2) You beat the living sh!t out of this other girl, and make sure she won't even have to do as much as to look at you without the sense of fear.
Step 3) Tell him that this same girl was saying that to him as some sort of come on and that there was no rumor, she made it all up

admire him from afar for now and say nothing just let it pass. Perhaps you could run into him somewhere out of school. To me it would make you look like a busybody if you told him about the rumors.
