... I told you that- during last summer, at a Christian festival (Soul Survivor Week A) I went to a seminar about healing. At that time I had quite a serious anterior cruciate ligament injury, picked up while playing football, with the high possibility of surgery. At the seminar we prayed and one lady, who did not me, had a picture of someone injuring their knee with goal posts in the corner of their eye, just like I did when I did it. Then a group of people prayed for my healing and one guy said, " Do you mind, Mike, if I spit on your knee?" This was a bit of strange request, but I realised that Jesus did some healings like this in the bible (Mark 7:31-35). So this guy spat on his fingers and rubbed it on my knee. After about a week, my knee was feeling better and I went for scans (again) to see if their was any new damage. In fact, it was healed!! This can only be Jesus as all medical things had been attempted but had not worked. What do you think?

I have heard of amputees have new limbs 'grow' because of the Holy Spirit, can you believe it if you saw it? I know I would probably run a mile, would be scary

And cares for all, but because of sin in the world, even with the death of Jesus to save us, the more people keep on sinning against God, the more bad things happen. Often it brought about through own mis-doings. Bad things to happen to people because they let them happen. I mean I had cancer as a child, was once given 4 days to live. But it was God's plan to heal me and then use me, as HE is now. And God is with poverty striken countries by using missionaries to help, He is doing something, not just sitting on his throne in heaven.

Then why doesn't Jesus heal amputees? Why doesn't he drop aid parcels to poverty-stricken Third world villages? Why instead does he care about someone with a ligament injury?

Ever heard of the placebo effect?

Also, if the proof of Jesus' divinity is his healing powers, does that mean that faith healers are also God?
