I want to go skiing this weekend, but my GF's grandma is pretty sick and she wants us to go visit her. The thing is I am begining to see my GF's mean side. She is a master at putting other people down. She always dress's like a hoochie mama. She does'nt know when to keep her mouth shut. It's starting to really turn me off. She will verbally attack people and it's embarassing. I want a sweet, nice, decent girl with a forgiving spirit. Should I tell her and give her a chance to change?

Trust me, she won't change and if she does, it won't be for the better.
You've got a perfect chance to make your move away from the situation. Suggest that she go visit grandma and you go skiing this weekend. At that point she will probably tell you that you're heartless, that you are selfish..yadda, yadda, yadda.
At that point act sorry but not really too interested in what she has to say. Don't get angry...let her. At some point she's going to hit you with an ultimatum. Stick to your guns but again, be somewhat nonchalant. Sooner or later she will blurt out that she doesn't want to see you again. That's your cue to leave. Still act hurt....but go.
You know how to handle it from there.

What does her grandma have to do with this? You should forgo skiing and see her grandma, even if you plan do dump your GF.

You should tell her about her faults, but be prepared to hear about your own! Relationships are built on trust and truth. You must tell her because no one else will. Realistically though, she won't change. At least not as quickly as you want. It takes a lot of time to change ones personality.

Good luck. Go see grandma. Ski next weekend.

Good luck, you might just want to find someone you are a little more compatible with!
