I recieved a credit card from Capital One about 3 weeks ago.Right away I used about 500 dollars of the available credit to buy some thing I had to get anyways. A few days later I paid it all off. My problem is I still havent recieved a statement from them. Does anyone know whether they send you a statement if you dont have a balance. I also just pulled a FICO report and they dont have the card listed yet. When does Capital One report?

Thanks

no statement if paid in full. Some companies only report quarterly.

You will receive your first statement about a month after use. (You can sign up online at http://www.capitalone.com and check balance, payments, etc)

Nothing will be reported to the credit agencies until after your statement has been due. They report the balance and when you paid (if on time, late, etc). That should be updated monthly.

I'm sure they'll catch up with you with the paperwork. Do you have some proof that you paid the money to Capital One under your account number, such as a cancelled check or a bank statement?

There's always a pretty good lapse between getting a new account and it showing up. It can take up to 120 days.
