Petsmart sells it. While you are there, check out Nutro Ultra Holistic...it's a step up and better but if you can only afford the Natural choice then get that. Just stay away from Nutro Maxx. Get the small bag to see if it agrees and your dog likes it. Mine didn't like it so I use Wellness, a great food from Petco. Blue Buffalo from Petsmart is also good as is Solid Gold, Merrick, Eagle Pack Holistic.

Nutro is one of the best animal foods on the market. My cat really loves the feline variety and both my Yorkies snapped up the Nutro samples I fed to them. Unfortunately, I just cannot buy this food in my area unless I order online. DO feed your puppy this excellent choice and you'll have very few problems concerning his/her general health and progress.

It is better then most supermarket brands but has a lot of grain splitting in their ingredient list ex white rice, rice flour, ground rice, rice bran etc when you add up all the split grains, the rice then becomes the main ingredient of the food not the meat, this is a trick many dog food manufacturers use inorder to list meat as the first ingredient when it really is not the main ingredient. Some of the natural choice formulas like the large breed, and some of the chicken formula contain corn gluten which some dogs are highly allergic to.
For slighty better quality at a lower price you would be better off with Costco's Kirkland Signature super premiums dog foods for $23 a bag
Since at least one person is claiming there is no corn in Nutro Natural Choice
ingredient lists can be checked from here http://www.nutroproducts.com/naturalchoicedog.asp
Some formulations contain corn gluten meal it can be found in

Its a good food but make sure you get the right one. We put our GSD on Performance to put on some weight, then when he reached the correct weight we changed over to Sensitive. He didn't thrive on it at all, in fact he threw up. So, back to Performance and everything OK. Don't overfeed, take notice of the guide lines on the bag. Finally Nutro has a no quibble guarantee, so if your dog doesn't like it, return the bag to the pet shop and they will change it or refund your money.

Yes but its very pricy. Shop around you want an all natural dog food with no meat by products, soy or corn meal. Blue seal life style foods are really good and inexpensive as is natural banlance from walmart. If you dont mind spending more go for it.
One of the best foods on the market is evolve.

I have two dogs, both overweight and I switched to Nutro Lite, lamb and rice. Their weight has dropped significantly. My Jack Russel lost 15, yes 15 pounds! (He also has a thryroid condition) and my Rott lost 10 pounds and does feel better. We had them on Costco's Kirkland Brand Lamb & Rice. The price is great and so was the food, however, they both bulked up too much. Maybe once I get them both down to a decient size, I might go back to the Costco Brand, not sure yet..................

I give my 5 month old chihuahua the same food and prior I asked a vet which food out there was the best and they said nutro natural because it doesn't have ANY corn in it. I guess anything without the corn ingredient is good for your dog!!!

I fed my dogs Nutro for a lot of years, but my vet said that there isn't enough moisture in it. I don't really get that, as it's dry food, but I've since switched, and my dogs are doing fine.
