In principle the answers are right, but you can also say:

I forget it = Me olvido
I always forget it = Siempre me olvido.

I forgot it = Me olvidé
I forgot your birthday = Me olvidé de tu cumpleaños

I forget it = yo lo olvido
I forgot it= yo lo olvidaba or yo lo olvidé
although you can omit "yo" and you can say: "lo olvide" cse when you say "lo olvide" you are saying in first person.

I hope it helps you!

The other answers are right, but if by "I forget it" you mean that you don't remember it now, you can say "no me acuerdo" or "no me recuerdo"
