there are many groups that work towards this.... missionaries that smuggle books into countries that they are not able to have the Word, there are the Gideons who have another way to send out the bible, Wycliffe is an organization that is translating into all languages... prayer is a good way to ask the Lord to show you where He is working so that you can join in to accomplish the great Commission!

The Gideons International will help with the Bibles...and I don't remember the website but there is another organization that is I think, Hope International that helps with bibles in the local languages. Of course there are short term missions trips with various local churches. I'm going with my church this year in August to Jamacia to help out at the City of Refuge orphanage.

Your statement makes no sense, how will the food take care of itself??? As Christians we give, we do not ask who believes and who does not. We should not set ourselves above them in any way.
I would rather people with this kind of attitude not help...though I suspect you are just another non-believer trying to be passive-aggressive towards Christians.
Trouble is...few Christians would make such statements. - tweetie

I am beginning to wonder if you are just a troll...
No, homeless folk do not need your holy books, they need food and shelter, and perhaps help getting back on their feet. Giving people who are starving a bible instead of food is an insult.

Contrary to what you think, many Muslims actually read the Bible as much as the Qur'an. We also read the Old Testament however, something many Christians have stopped doing.

Wowww, touched more of a nerve than I thought this question would. Wonder if there's a little guilt stirring in some people here?

Start at your own back door, in your neighborhood. God will then help you to know how as He would have you to do. PEACE!!!
