try changing your dogs food to something that is less harsh on stomach. my dog vomited at least once every 3-6months i trained him so that when he was about to throw up he'd run to door and i would let him out so he could throw up and he would eat some grass and everything would be fine but your dog is throwing up everyday that is a little strange i would get the opinions of several different vets instead of just one.

First get another vet as soon as possible. This one is a quack.
Until then try feeding twice day instead of once. Ask at a good pet supply store. They may be able to recommend a better diet. You may be feeding him the wrong food for this dog.

I too have a dachshund (teckel) and she never vomits. You should take the dog to another vet as soon as possible. Is she/he possible eating something that's laying around your house. If you can watch your dog closely for a day to see what it is up too and watch everything she/he ingests.Maybe try to change the food. Good luck.

Talk to another vet. Dachsunds do have unusual bodies, true. But throwing up every day is not normal for any dog.
