You're going to hell!

Just kidding.

You might want to make a sacrifice and sign your wife up for cooking classes if she is really that terrible.

Or make a deal with her - she doesn't touch the food before it's cooked all through lent - but does the dishes instead.

Take her to the Fish Fry's that lots of Catholic Churches/schools/service organizations like KofC's put on on Fridays of Lent. This way you won't eat meat and you'll have an excuse to avoid her cooking by going to a cheap and charitable event. They are usually lots of fun and the fish is decent. Enjoy! :)

There is no biblical edict against eating meat rather the opposite. There is a verse that warns of false people trying to forbid people from eating meat and marrying. It is a curious verse in the new testement but who does it sound like?

First of all, that WAS a Catholic thing. Second, you can fast and abstain from anything you decide to abstain from. Even Yahoo Answers!

There's no Biblical justification for abstaining from meat on Friday (any Friday). So, enjoy!
