Where can I enrol for voluntary work?

Question

I want to spend alot of my time volunteering around the world. I want to start in the UK, where can I find out who needs volunteers (hospices, care homes etc)

I would recommend volunteering for Vitalise (check their Website). They have centres in Essex, Southport, Cornwall, Nottingham, Southampton. The organisation provides respite services for disabled people and their carers. As a volunteer, you would be expected to do alot of socialising with guests, help at mealtimes, and push wheelchairs on outings. Accommodation, meals and travel expenses are covered (You will get to do alot of sightseeing, because after all the guests are on holiday) . Minimum time is one week. Previous experience is not necessary, just enthusiasm and no criminal record.

Hi i work at my local hospital radio as a volunteer presenter , found out where i was needed by looking on the local hospital website hope this helps its great fun and i love doing my bit good luck.

Join with Lions International.. we are the world's largest volunteer organization with 1.5million members world wide in 200 countries. Go to the website, choose your language, click on club locator, choose your country, look for your nearest town. Contact the President of the club.
