I am so sorry that you are going through this. No one should have to deal with this. I would suggest that you sit down with the local police and make a report and explain that it has been going on for 4 years now and be upfront with them and just say that you want every incident doc. so that if something happens they will know who to talk with first. I would also get a restraining order on him which will probably p... him off but maybe just maybe it might wake him up to the fact he needs to move on.
Good luck and be safe!

He is calming down some, so maybe the worst is over. He is not scaring you, or nothing bad, just leaving you chocolates, and the occasional email. The guy obviously still had a thing for you. I think he has slowed down, maybe he has another love interest.

If it's been four years then it's time you contacted the police and see what they can do. You may have stalker laws in your state that protect you. His actions show a very bad mental problem that if not addressed could lead well beyond what he has done so far. Don't take any chances by shrugging it off, for your own safety.

Wow that's scary, call the police. I mean I know he hasn't hurt you or anything but that's scary and you never really know to what extent he might be following you. Take precautions, carry mase, be careful. Let friends and family know what's going on just incase it ever gets out of hand. At least they'll know where to look. Try changing up some of your patterns too as far as when you leave your house, where you go, when you're by yourself. And pay attention to vehicles around you. This might not be anything but you never know.

Change your e-mail address, change you phone number, eat the chocolate and threaten him with the police, if that doesn't work ring the police. This guy has been stalking you for 4 years, this needs to stop now. By not doing anything you are letting this guy think that there's some hope for him.
Take a stand for your self girl!!!!

File a police report, everytime he contacts you. You can get your telephone number changed, probably for free, because of his behavior. If he has threatened you with a "credible" threat, then it is stalking. Otherwise it's harassment. Both are illegal, but stalking is a major crime. Also, if he has threatened you, you can get a Court restraining order. If he violates the order, he can be arrested, each time he violates it.

Keep records of everything, including hand written notes of time - date - event and place, report it to the police then if possible, get a restraining order.

I know how you feel that has happened to me for four years but l was never together with the person the only reason it stoped was because he left a letter saying that he was going to leave the state for his job. pretty much your stuck with that person until they find another or leave.
