Say a guy that you've been messing around with for almost a year doesn't really put fourth any effort to spend time with you. He calls every other day & holds a brief conversation & whenever we do try to make plans he doesn't show.
I like him & I think he's a cool friend he tells me all these things over the phone but his actions just don't follow through & then I notice that there are times when I call him & he doesn't return the call until the next day. We're not a couple but sometimes I feel like I'm waisting my time trying to be there for him. He's even secretive about where he works & where he lives. Some people say that maybe he lives with somebody but then he calls me at like 2 & 3 in the morning sometimes. So what should I think or what should I do? Isn't it true that when you're really interested in someone you find the time to spend with them & it's just not about the phone conversations?

Sorry to hear , i would think that this guy has a girlfriend and has you on the side just for fun or a pass time .
You should move on and find a man that give you the time of day.
Don't wait around and waste your time for a guy that only calls you cause he wants to mess around with you, you're better then that and deserve someone better then that.
I know it's easier said then done but you're better off.

Sounds like he does live with someone that he's cheating on. She is probably asleep when he calls at 2-3 am. Move on and find a guy that wants to spend time with you.

Sounds as though he wants friends with benefits, but no actual commitment. If you're okay with that, continue on as you are, but honestly, you deserve better than that. If he truly cared, he'd make more of an effort to include you in his life, not hide it from you.

The late night phone calls are for sex.
I'm 28 and just letting you know that we ALL come across men like this at some point. Its best to just let him go and leave him alone.

Drop him flat and move on.
He will do nothing but chew u up and spit u out.
He is either married, or a self serving jerk with no concious.

He's not only living with someone, he is very involved with them. You hear from him at 2 and 3 in the morning when he's drunk, mad at her, she's mad at him, or else he's plain horney/bored. You know how someone should behave when they are interested in you based on your question, stop wasting your time honey ;o)
