My laptop has obvious design, as does my phone, my clothes and everything around me, and these things are all simple
How can the complexities of the design in nature and of this universe be denied primarily so people can deny the existance of a god.

I've come to realise that when you people find out that the truth was something you scoffed at you won't care but it'll be the last thing you were ever apathetic about

How can someone make the vast jump from, "I can't understand how this natural system works," to "Obviously this was designed and created by god, and that god is obviously the Christian God." That's my question.

How does intelligent design occur? You have lots of ideas (variation), you choose between them on the basis of whatever criteria you're interested in (selection) and you produce increasingly complex things by incrementally adding together previous achievements.
Wow, so we have variation, selection and increasing complexity - sounds just like evolution! The truth is that *intelligent* design is just a special case of the more general property of self-organisation which you can see everywhere in the universe. As intelligent entities we humans are really just continuing the same process that has been going on for the last 4 billion years or so, but at a much accelerated pace.
So, far from the 'design in nature' proving the existence of a god, it just reflects the power of unthinking, undirected natural processes in an uncreated universe.

Review your logic:
- nothing complex can exist without being created
- this the universe was created
- and the creator existed without being created
It's the worst argument ever made, frankly. Besides, the universe is incredibly simple. Just a few basic mechanisms run the whole thing, but the expression of those mechanisms for any particular purpose introduces the illusion of complexity. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it was created.

Look into Islam. All teh answers are there. Allah is the designer, teh fashioner. He is in control of everything that happens in the universe. The movement of teh sun, the moon, the earth. the rise of teh sun from the east and the setting in the west. The earth that has no life unless God wishes to give it life and have a seed grow into flowers and plants for us to live on otherwise mud is mud and is dry but no, God decided it should rain and give life to fields and make them blossom with plants and crops. I dont understand when people say they dont believe in God. Its soooooo sad coz they dont knw what they on about i.e. they're not educated.

Evolved life displays cumlative complexity.
Indicative that it was not designed with any overall plan.
Keep It Simple Stupid!
Think of any beuraucratic system, the more complex the better.
There was no overall plan which results in mind boggling complexity very quickly through lack of design.

If complexity denotes design, then God has been designed. Can you think of anything more complex than an ultimately powerful cosmic super-being?
