I evolved a pair of rotor blades to replace them, our environment is not liquid medium anymore after all, now I flail wildly about in the air to try to get lift.

Geheh. While I realize this is a joke, it's kinda problematic because we actually still do! The human body has kept this particular organ in lots of various places, such as along the inside of the trachea, where groups of flagella (cillia) help squeeze stuff down.

Just because we originally came from a single cell, it didn't mean that we have to remain single-celled like the protozoa all throughout.

The cell keeps on dividing by itself, in effect multiplying in equivalent number till fully formed as a human being consisting of multimillion cells.

Did I give a confusing enough answer to a silly question? :)

You ever heard of this thing called a "spine"? This is one such extension of the flagellum of millions of years ago... However, I agree with the dude who said his spermatozoa have flagella.

Our "flagella" disappeared with evolution and we grew legs. We're not protozoans, so we don't have flagella. Dur!

Evolve means to change, overcome, adapt. We have evolved out of what we use to need and now we have what is needed.
