for the past couple of weeks, i'll randomely get a sharp pain right underneath my left breast. it kind of scraes me. it lasts a few seconds then goes away, it kind of takes my breath away a little. but today, i've felt it A COUPLE of times so far this morning (which usually doesnt happen) and it stretched a little bit to my shoulder blade it feels like. im not exactly sure whats going on, so beofre i run to the ER i want to make sure it is something to be worried about....any NURSES in here?
its kind of off and on...

It may be due to spasm of the coronary artery. Variant angina is angina pectoris secondary to epicardial coronary artery spasm (Prinzmetal's angina). Consult a Cardiologist.

It may be angina pectoris, a transient chest pain produced by insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle resulting in ischemia. Its pain characteristic is substernal, radiating to to the neck, jaw, shoulders, back and arms, and it is usually relieved by rest. Go to your MD, before other symptoms like difficulty in breathing would occur.

before you do run to the ER.. maybe call your doctor !!! never take the word of a stranger on here answering a medical question especially when it pertains to you and the area that your feeling the pain in..
