How do I potty train a puppy?

I have an American Bulldog puppy. He is about 10 weeks old. I work all day until 5 p.m. Mon.-Fri. So, how do I potty train him?

When we catch our puppy making a boo boo, we show her what she did then take her to the door and tell her outside, then take her outside. It's worked with my other dogs.

What were your plans before you got him? Dogs should never be alone all day and it's even worse for puppies. You should crate train the puppy but have someone come in a few times a day to let him out and play with him. Dogs are social animals and are unhappy being alone.
