There is NO SUCH THING. Aircraft carrier are only a Navy thing. The carrier you are talking about in NYC is the USS Intrepid. It is a decommissioned aircraft carrier which is now open to the public as a Naval Museum.
Also, they NAVY has or has had 76 aircraft carriers and 1 is currently under construction. If you want to know the active carriers, they are:
USS ENTERPRISE
USS KITTYHAWK
USS JOHN F. KENNEDY
USS NIMITZ
USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN
USS CARL VINSON
USS GEORGE WASHINGTON
USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT
USS JOHN C. STENNIS
USS HARRY S. TRUMAN
USS RONALD REAGAN
(USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH)

The Navy is the one with the Aircraft Carriers. The Navy does the sea, the Air Force is the sky. The carrier in NYC is the Essex Class Carrier Intrepid if you mean the one that is part of the dock area museam. It left for repairs on its hull. Sea water is not the best thing for metal.

There are none.
USAF is US Air Force, and it is the US Navy the one that has Aircraft carriers, a type of ship, not the Air Force. Also the Navy has its own Air Force which operate from those aircraft carriers or Naval Air Stations.
Air Force airplanes are NOT design to operate and can NOT (99% of the time) from Navy Aircraft carriers, which need specically design planes (Navy planes) to operate from them.

That's probably the USS Intrepid you're talking about in NYC. All US carriers are US Navy not chair force. Google aircraft carrier for all the information you need to know on names.

That question is simple. There are no USAF aircraft carriers. All carriers (CVN) and its planes on board belongs to the US navy.

The one in New York is the Intrepid..they recently had trouble moving it from one dock to another because it was stuck in the mud of the Hudson river. I served on the Enterprise...there is the Coral Sea, Constellation,Reagan, Truman ,America,Nimitz, Roosevelt also...there are more, but I'm fresh out. You should make it a point to see one close up. You will be awestruck!!
I was.
