I'm veggie and their veggie burgers ain't that great. So I take a look at thier scollop and if they're big and fat and look nicely cooked I go for scolop batch with hot chillie sauce. Failing that I can only really get chips and to flavour it up, you guessed, its the chillie sauce. Not a great fan of the curry sauce but its ok sometimes. Chip bach it of again with chillie sauce. A new thing, I don't know if they do it in your area, is chips in pitta bread or in a wrap. I suppose you can have your meat fillings in there as well. And sometimes I have mayo instead of chillie and its its fries then mint sause made from mayo is beautiful.

Theres a speciality in leiceter, uk called the chip special or chip batch special where they add a blend of nice sauces and pickles with onions and green chillies. Its awsome but I don't think chippies in other places do em.

Sorry I couldn't recomend any meat varieties, I tried a donner once when experimenting in my young days and pucked as I chewed it up cause it was nasty, chickin is ok but how can ppl eat donner its rank and I couldn't even swollow it.

aa ha-there is more to this question than you may think,it depends in whch part of the uk you are in,now if you are in scotland a black pudding supper is a must or of course a haggis supper-when you ask for a 'supper'it just means whatever with chips.i recommennd a black pudding supper supper or a 'special' fish supper-that ace fish done in breadcrumbs with chips-oh and of course there is the mars bar supper they are now very popular(no this is not a joke)-it's true.

A chip butty, mushy peas and those lovely big onion rings (hope you get them wherever you are!)

Oh and you have to do it properly by eating with a wooden fork and out of the wrapper!!!

Enjoy x

If the fish is crap then why bother.Thats half the meal gone.

Try cooking yourself something nice, even if it is only Cheese and onion on toast.

I can't think of anything from a chip shop that's not totally revolting except possibly doner kebabs, as long as they have plenty of salad and no chilly sauce.
