Like tools in a toolbox Gandhigiri should be part of an arsenal of any counter strategy but not the sole weapon. Extremists shut themselves off to other ideas, even extreme Gandhians. So have Gandhi in mind while having a finger on the nuclear option.

would be nice but couldn't happen because the majority of people would follow the rules but then the bullies would see an opportunity to take advantage and stink up the watering hole. Every once and awhile the bullies need a club on the head.

Did you know that Ghandi allowed his wife to die before allowing her to get treatment, while accepting the same treatment for himself a year later.

Or that he liked to track his underlings bowel movements?

Or that he liked to sleep with naked teenage girls to "test himself".

Quit being a puppet for Christ sakes.

gandhigiri it is mainly focussing principals of gandhiji which is satya (truth) and ahinsa(non violence).

now we can't stick always on it as it is impractical in many situations.
1)truth:- if we can save anbodys life by lieing there is no harm unless it wouldnt cost others life.
becouse apart from loss of life anything is smaller in comparision of saving anybodys life
2)non violence-if robbers or terrorist r trying to kill many people killing those beast is of no harm as they r social animals if not get killed they will ruin lives as well as damage many properties.

but if we r implenting gandhigiri to serve human then it is really good becouse violence and lieing anything not always solve problem but they simply complex the problem
