I started going out with this lovely guy a couple of weeks ago. I was introduced to him by my friend who works at the gym he goes to. But ever since we started going out he has ignored her when she's at work and is being very rude.
Why, can someone tell me, is he doing this?

First off - some men DO like to be called 'lovely'!
Maybe he thinks that you and your friend talk about him, and he's embarrassed. Just ask him, no big deal!

perhaps he wants a distance from her now that hes seeing you. in other words, shes too close to him for comfort. hes scared of the 3 way friendship/relationship...only he can tell you guys why.

Do you mean that he ignores your friend who introduces you?

maybe he has a grudge against her for introuducing you to him and landing him with a girlfriend!!?
Maybe it was her he originally fancied?
Ar eyou sure shes not jealous and making things out to be worse than they are - like have you seen him treat her this way?
id ask him..

It's probably 'cause he doesn't want to see you again and feels awkward around your friend.

Maybe he wanted her and not you? I know that sounds harsh, but it isn't supposed to be.
