Say for instance you broke up with someone because the timing was not right and your heart was not into it..or you did something to screw the relationship up in the first place..or just say you wished to be friends..however you felt more for that person then just mere friendship..do you ever regret giving that person up in the first place?

most definitely i regret screwing up my last relationship due to my personal circumstances. she broke up with me b/c she felt i couldn't be up front with her about what was going on in my life and i would cover it up... i knew all she wanted to do was love me but i wouldn't allow her to but yeah if i got the opportunity to be with her after my life was together and she and I were both on the right path then I would definitely take the opportunity. i keep the faith always.
So i encourage you to keep the faith b/c ANYTHING is possible and I do mean that b/c God's Will works in blessed ways and if He took your past love out of your life it was for a reason b/c it was just not the right time but then again He does have power to bring them back into your life. If it's meant to happen it will happen. But keep on living your life.

Why would you regret breaking off a relationship where you only felt them as a friend a nothing mpre?
Never stay with someone out of pity, and dont stay with them just because. Listen to your instincts and how you feel.

Yes, I regret missing out on someone great. My excuse was that she didn't fit what i was looking for physically. She was a bit over weight but a remarkable person inside. I felt like such an a**h***!!

Oh gosh yeah...I had someone that was a friend, for a very long time...and all I keep thinking about lately is why I didnt try to pursue a relationship with that person...and well now its kinda too late...b/c they are with someone else

Sometimes I do ... but then when I think back, there were reasons things with that person didn't work out. Usually when I think "what if?", I'm focusing on just the good times we had, not the altercations & problems.

the only thing i ever regret was letting my bf take advantage of me and let him cheat on me and stay by his side. everyone at the time was telling me not to get to close to him but i didn't listen and it has caused me alot of hear ache. I think about all the time what if i hadn't of never meet him would i still of gotten hurt by someoen else or not.

Yes, but she was looking for a hubby, found him, and wanted to get back together with me. No way. Tough to be friends, just aquaintences.
