I would think not, but remember that most cannabis is mixed with tobacco to smoke it, so you will still have the tobacco danger. The only way of avoiding this is to smoke pure `grass`. But if you haven`t started, don`t, your body is better off without any rubbish being put into it.

you don´t have to smoke cannabis, you can drink it as tea or some specialists make cookies from - so happened in a Hamburg Police Station. All officers were stoned.

supposedly because they say that people who toke hold in the smoke longer and that its unfiltered. However i think tobacco is worse for the amount of chemicals added into the tobacco itself. Weed is just weed, even though today's blends have been engineered to be twice as potent than the stuff in the 60's.

Tobacco is the second major cause of death in the world. It is currently responsible for the death of one in ten adults worldwide (about 5 million deaths each year). If current smoking patterns continue, it will cause some 10 million deaths each year by 2020. Half the people that smoke today -that is about 650 million people- will eventually be killed by tobacco.

Cannabis impairs cognitive development (capabilities of learning).Cannabis impairs psychomotor performance in a wide variety of tasks, such as motor coordination, divided attention, and operative tasks of many types; human performance on complex machinery can be impaired for as long as 24 hours after smoking as little as 20 mg of THC in cannabis; there is an increased risk of motor vehicle accidents among persons who drive when intoxicated by cannabis.Chronic use of cannabis causes selective impairment of cognitive functioning which include the organization and integration of complex information involving various mechanisms of attention and memory processes;prolonged use may lead to greater impairment, which may not recover with cessation of use, and which could affect daily life functions;development of a cannabis dependence syndrome characterized by a loss of control over cannabis use is likely in chronic users;cannabis use can exacerbate schizophrenia in affected individuals;epithetial injury of the trachea and major bronchi is caused by long-term cannabis smoking; airway injury, lung inflammation, and impaired pulmonary defence against infection from persistent cannabis consumption over prolonged periods;heavy cannabis consumption is associated with a higher prevalence of symptoms of chronic bronchitis and a higher incidence of acute bronchitis than in the non-smoking cohort;cannabis used during pregnancy is associated with impairment in fetal development leading to a reduction in birth weight;cannabis use during pregnancy may lead to postnatal risk of rare forms of cancer although more research is needed in this area.

Yes it does and it kills your brain cells so you wind up losing a lot of info that you once knew etc. It is not pretty to watch someone go from being super smart to not remembering things because they smoked pot.
