Well, I'm a Muslim and I can help you!
Muslims believe that Allah, who is the same God of Christians and Jews, is the one true God. In order to be in paradise after death then we must follow the Quran, which was delivered by the Angel Gabriel to Muhammed. Muhammed was the prophet of God, but he wasn't the only one. Earlier before him there were other prophets of God and Jesus was one of them. Also, Muslims believe that Jesus was an ordinary man and that he wasn't the son of God.
The Quran is an important to Muslims. While Muslims can read the Bible, it is to the Quran that we look to guide us in our lives. The Quran is perfect, while the Bible contains errors. The Quran helps Muslims to live a good life to please Allah.
There are five pillars in Islam:
1. Faith- Muslims must believe that Allah is the one true God and that Muhammed is his prophet.
2. Prayer- Muslims must pray 5 times a day during specific times. This is called the "Salat". This helps a Muslim focus on God.
3. Zakat- Muslims are supposed to give a portion of their money to poor people and charity. The percentage of the money given is determined how much you earn.
4. Fast- Muslims are required to fast during the month of Ramadan. To fast is to restrain from food, drinks, sexual relations from first light to sundown. After sundown, a Muslim can perform this activities. Fasting is to help a Muslim connect with God.
5. Pilgrimage (Hajj)- All financially and physically Muslims are obligated to make a trip to Mecca.

Anyways, there is so much more to Islam. Here are some good websites to get more information. Have a nice day!

In the Name of Allah...the Best Knower.

We believe in the existence of a Supreme Being Who is Creator of all things, and we refer to this Supreme Being, in the Arabic Language, by the Name "ALLAH", which basically means "The One True God".

We believe that ALLAH is the Sender of all Prophets and Messengers, and is the Source and Revealer of all Truth. Therefore, we also believe in and respect every Prophet sent by ALLAH - from Noah to Muhammad - and we likewise believe in and respect the Scriptures they were given for humanity.

We believe that ALLAH is intimately involved in the evolution of Man toward his perfected state, and that what He reveals is Designed to facilitate that end.

We believe and know that the present world (system) is in a severely aberrated state, as seen in the behaviours and resulting conditions of the inhabitants of the earth; and therefore cannot last indefinitely. This will ultimately result in the self-destruction of Man unless Allah intervenes to Guide and Lead us out of the state that we have put ourselves in. Such "intervention" is most often referred to as "The Judgment".

We believe in the eventual Restoration of Truth, Love, Freedom, Justice and Equality as the Governing Principles of the inhabitants of the Earth, which is often referred to as the "Resurrection" and the "Kingdom of God on Earth".

1. WE BELIEVE In the One God whose proper Name is Allah.

2. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Qur'an and in the Scriptures of all the Prophets of God.

3. WE BELIEVE in the truth of the Bible, but we believe that it has been tampered with and must be reinterpreted so that mankind will not be snared by the falsehoods that have been added to it.

4. WE BELIEVE in Allah's Prophets and the Scriptures they brought to the people.

5. WE BELIEVE in the the resurrection of the dead--not in physical resurrection--but in mental resurrection. We believe that the so-called Negroes are most in need of mental resurrection; therefore they will be resurrected first.

Furthermore, we believe we are the people of God's choice, as it has been written, that God would choose the rejected and the despised. We can find no other persons fitting this description in these last days more that the so-called Negroes in America. We believe in the resurrection of the righteous.

6. WE BELIEVE in the judgment; we believe this first judgment will take place as God revealed, in America...

That question is too vaugue to answer. Muslims don't just believe one thing. Millions of Muslims read the Quran and come up with completly differing ideas than others do. Some read it and get from it that they should be good and true and others get from it that they should kill anyone who disagrees with them. It's kind of like some idiot reading the Christian bible and reading that they need to kill abortion doctors. It doesn't make all Christians bad, the same way not all Muslims are bad.

Allah is their God.

Muslims believe that there is only one God, and there is no partner for him. He neither begets nor was be begotten. He did not have a beginning and will not have an end. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last of the series of messengers sent by God at different times to different nations and communities.

"Allah" is the Arabic proper word for "The God".

Allah means The God in Arabic. They believe that you should obey Mohamed and the Koran and do the 5 pillars
pray 5 times a day
give alms to the poor
fast during ramadan
say the confession of faith
travel to mecca on the hajj

IF you are real good, and your good works outdo your bad ones, you might get to heaven eventually where you can have sex out the wazzoo and drink wine that doesn't make you drunk (bummer).

They believe that by doing good deeds and believing in Him, they will be saving their souls from much atrocity.

Almost all the major religious scriptures of the world contain the word "Allah" as one of the names of God.

Elohim El, Elah, Alah
In the Bible, God is very often referred to as ‘Elohim’ in the Hebrew language. The ‘im’ in the ending is a plural of honour and God is referred to as ‘El’ or ‘Elah’ in the English Bible with commentary, edited by reverend C. I. Scofield. ‘Elah’ is alternatively spelled as ‘Alah’. The difference in spelling is only of a single ‘L’. Muslims spell Allah as ‘Allah’ while the Reverend has spelled it as Alah and they pronounce it as ‘Elah’. Muslims pronounce it as Allah. Hebrew and Arabic are sister languages therefore we say it should be pronounced as ‘Allah’ and not as ‘Elah’.

When I was in school, I was taught ‘D, O’ is do, ‘T, O’ is to. What is ‘G, O’ It is ‘go’ and not ‘gu’. ‘N, U, T’ is nut, ‘C, U, T’ cut; ‘B, U, T’ is but, what is ‘P, U, T’? Not ‘pat’ but it is ‘put’. If you ask "Why?" The answer is "It is their language". If I have to pass I have to say ‘P, U, T’ is ‘put’ and not ‘pat’. Similarly the right pronunciation for A, L, L, A, H, is Allah.

Jesus (pbuh) cried out Allah Allah when he was put on the cross
It is mentioned in the New Testament in the Gospel of Mathew, chapter 27 verse 46 as well as Gospel of Mark, chapter 15 verse 34 when Jesus (pbuh) was put on the cross.

Jesus cried with a loud voice saying "E’-Li, E’-Li la’-ma sa-bach’-tha-ni?" that is to say, ‘My God, My God why hast Thou Forsaken Me?’ Does this sound like Jehovah! Jehovah! why has thou forsaken me? Does it sound like Abba Abba? The answer is ‘No’. Hebrew and Arabic are sister languages and if you translate "E’-Li, E’-Li la’-ma sa-bach’-tha-ni" into Arabic it is ‘Allah Allah lama tarak tani’ does it sound similar?

This statement of Jesus (pbuh), "E’-Li, E’-Li la’-ma sa-bach’-tha-ni" is preserved in its original Hebrew in each and every of its translation which is available in more than 2000 different languages of the world and in each and every of them, "Allah" is present.

"Allah" in Sikhism
One of the names by which Gurunanak Sahib referred to God is "Allah".

"Allah" in Hinduism
"Allah" in Rigveda Book 2 Hymn I verse II
Even in the Rigveda which is the most sacred scripture of the Hindus, one of the attributes given to God Almighty in Book no 2 Hymn no I verse II, is ‘Ila’ which if pronounced properly is the same as Allah.

Allo Upanishad:
Amongst the various Upanishads one of the Upanishad is named as ‘Allo’ Upanishad in which God is referred to as "Allah" several times.

The most fundamental belief that a Muslim has is that "There is only One God" the Creator, the Sustainer -- known in the Arabic language and by Muslims as Allah. Allah is not a foreign god, nor an idol. Arabic-speaking Christians use the same word for the Almighty.

The fundamental pillar of faith in Islam is to testify that "there is no deity worthy of worship except the One True Almighty God" (in Arabic: "La ilaha ill Allah").

In the Qur'an, we read that Allah is Compassionate and Merciful. He is Kind, Loving, and Wise. He is the Creator, the Sustainer, the Healer. He is the One who Guides, the One who Protects, the One who Forgives. There are traditionally ninety-nine names, or attributes, that Muslims use to describe Allah's nature.

Some non-Muslims mistakenly believe that Allah is an "Arab god," a "moon god," or some sort of idol. Allah is the proper name of the One True God, in the Arabic language used by Muslims all over the world. Allah is a name that is neither feminine nor masculine, and it cannot be made plural (unlike god, gods, goddess, etc). Muslims believe that there is nothing in the heavens nor on earth that deserves worship except Allah, the One True Creator.

In Muslim understanding, God is beyond our sight and understanding, yet at the same time "nearer to us than our jugular vein" (Qur'an 50:16). Muslims pray directly to God, with no intermediary, and seek guidance from Him alone, because "...Allah knows well the secrets of your hearts" (Qur'an 5:7).
