My liitle dog and mutt fight over me for example my big dog will come to me and the little one will run in my lap and swat at her which then she gets mad and stands on me and growls at him but i show them both attention what should i do?

Oh this happens all the time,it happens with children too. I suppose you get to know your dogs real well, and try to be fair when handing out the affection and attention, but even that tends not to always work. With me they all feel special, but they do get jealous and you just have to be careful not to give them any extra reasons to feel that way.

This is where you need to show that you are the Lead Dog and or person. Have you ever watch "The Dog Whisperer"?

Ummm let it happen the little dog has the big dog buffaloed. Your best bet is to take time out for you pets in two seperate situation walk one at a time brush them one at a time bath them one at a time show them both that you love them and they will get equal time in you.

Dont let either dog up on your lap..!
Its just jealousy and rivalry to be the "ALPHAs" favourite. Keep them both on the ground..!

it's total love for you - the little one feels like the bigger one and threatened by size (Napoleon complex) - try not to let either stay on your lap or give them special time alone - it's harder than kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
