Trying to collect "friendly admirers".
I honestly think this stems from jealousy over the women who really are the most beautiful. I think her personality should catch up with her for awhile. It may do you her the favor of helping her like herself again and not feel the need to seek attention this way.

I think this is true.
It seems to happen when their self-esteem is at its lowest, for example when they newly single again or when they have body issues.

i had a friend that did this cus she didnt feel pretty so she thought if she got all the guys to like her even the ones that were taken then she would be pretty
i felt like this every once in a while but it is a choice to flirt your body doesn't just take over trust me i acted like this for a good year and i new what i was doing and i new it was wrong and that it was hurting people and i feel so sorry for it but sooner or later those girls (like me) will learn that just cus your pretty and the guys like to look at you doesn't mean they think your great and it doesn't make you great
its a vicious cycle that most girls have to go through
