yes, with Packet8.....we have done it! but you have to get an account with a US address, then send one video-phone to India and the other one where ever the family is....can also be used for video conferencing!!!

I don't know why you'd even bother signing up for a Packet8 account. You can just use MSN Messenger to do voice and video telephony between the two people no matter what country they are in for free, nothing per month.

You don't have to worry about shipping telephone adapters or having US addresses. Just have both obtain a webcam at their local computer store and use your internet connection.
