Try putting oil on it at night. That should help with the roughness and dryness. The Indian stores sell Amla oil which works well on dry hair.

I have the same problem. I oil my hair once a week at nioght and wash it off in the morning. Too much hair washing can also increase dryness. I wash my hair only 2 times in a week. When my hair is wet I also apply a little bit of hair oil (not much to soak it, just a little) all over the hair, you could use a non sticky formula. once my hair dries off naturally I have a shine to it and also it feels soft.

hi shona, even i used to be afflicted by dandruff for some years. my dermatologist prescribed KETOCONAZOLE shampoo. it worked wonders!in quarter of a jug of water ,upload one or 2 drops of the shampoo, no greater effective than that.blend properly, pour it on ur head and rubdown slowly, permit it stay for 5 to eight minutes.then rinse it off. use this merely two times a week.and for dry hair, shampoo ur hair with any shampoo u often use, rinse off, practice mayonnaise on the hair strands, in specific the techniques,go away it for an hour and wash off the mayonnaise properly with shampoo..
