meanest person. Name calling and physical abuse are involved but I am scared to not be with him. I am a very independent woman but he has made me feel I cant be without him and he threatens me with him leaving. I should just let him go but I am scared. Any suggestions. There are good times but mostly bad and when he gets angry it is bad.

I'd find a way to have enough self-worth to dump him. I know... easier said than done because I'm willing to bet my next paycheck that you are co-dependent and feel like you need him, right? Let me tell you from my experience that the fear that keeps you from doing the right thing is a fear that you will know far better when things go sour. Do it now. You know in your heart it's going to be ok and things will be better for you. He's just one guy.

ive been with angry guys, the best u can do is that if u love him u need to take a charge and tell him how it is, if ur afraid of physical abuse do it over the phone or eith someine there. tell him how hes hurting u and that ur not ok with it and tell him that ur relationship is on thin ice because of his actions! let him see how it feels to be put up on the block for once! best wishes...follow your heart!

Dump him over the phone. Or get help--like from the police! Physical abuse is horrible! Avoid him at all costs. Get a better guy in your life quick so he can protect you!

You can't be that independent if you're still with him. You know what you need to do, you just don't want to or you're scared to do it. Do you see all the guys killing their wives and girlfriends? Do you want this to happen to you? I know it sounds harsh, but you need to get out of that relationship NOW.

you are not independent or else you would realize you don't need him--next time he threatens to leave, help him pack. he is insecure and wants to make you feel that way......let him go, before it gets worse!!

if you leave: he'll find you beat you rape you and most likely kill you
if you stay: you love him, he'll only beat you when you need it. and just call you names so you don't get too conceited.
