Doctors recommend any and every woman of child-bearing age take prenatal vitamins. They are a multivitamin with extra folic acid and a few other vitamins. My daughter quit breastfeeding months ago, and I still take them. I have noticed since taking them I have more energy, my hair is thicker, and my nails are stronger. If your insurance covers it, or you can afford it, your best bet is seeing a nutritionist. They will give you an evaluation and give you a list of vitamins tailored to your diet and lifestyle.

B vitamins (B-6 & B-12 particularly) help with energy. Look for a quality multi-vitimin to take each day. I use GNC's Women's Ultra Mega and they're great. Tons of B vitamins and everything else you need. Take one in the morning with breakfast and a second with your lunch. But as others have said, you still need to make sure you are resting well. Also, drink plenty of water.

This depends on the cause of your tiredness. If it is stress, taking a vitamin won't help - identifying & resolving the cause of the stress will. If it is diet, it makes no sense to correct that by taking a vitamin, changinf the diet will. Find the cause and then you can know better what to do.

Go to the doctor...he/she can tell you what you're lacking. When you go, ask to have your blood iron levels checked...I had this problem that year, and I was way too low on iron. Also, make sure that the foods you eat have vitamins and mineral, too...you can't rely on supplements. Try spinach, broccoli, brown rice, low fat yogurt, strawberries, kale, blueberries...you'll get folate, magnesium, zinc, vitamin D and so much more that will help boost your energy levels.

Vitamins will definetely help, as will the correct diet and exercise and good rest. The main thing is to get your body to be able to effectively utilize all the vitamins and food and rest it gets. You will have to detoxify your body and build your immune system. Take the detoxifier dose from essies tea for 3 months with lots of water every day, exercise regularly, eat good healthy food with lots of vegetables and get a good nights rest every night.

You need a good mulitvitamin that is well absorbed by your body and a good antioxidant supplement. Also if you haven't had your yearly physical yet this year you may want to schedule this now and discuss all this with your doc so he can run blood tests just to be sure everything is OK.

Are you getting enough rest? Taking supplements won't help if you are not well rested to begin with.
